Description:

This repair kit includes 19 capacitors to replace the through hole capacitors on all parts of an original DMG-01 Game Boy handheld.

The kit includes the version 2 power board capacitors, so that the kit is compatible with all variants.

All capacitors are from official distributors and are always big name brand, typically Nichicon or Panasonic depending on availability and compatibility.

Includes the following values.

Screen board:

2 x 100uf 10V for locations C1 & C7
1 x 10uf 25V for location C3
5 x 1uf 50V for locations C6, C7, C8, C9 & C10

CPU board:

2 x 100uf 10V for locations C1 & C2
2 x 1uf 50V for locations C3 &C4
2 x 10uf 16V for locations C5 &C6

Headphone jack board:

2 x 100uf 6.3V for location C1
2 x 100uf 6.3V for location C2

Power board V1:

1 x 33uf 25V

Power board V2:

1 x 33uf 25V
1 x 100uf 10V
1 x 22uf 10V

The voltage and physical size of the capacitors may be different to the originals but compatible, the UF rating will match.

A reasonable level of soldering ability are required to install the replacement capacitors, the handheld must be opened to install. 

Soldering iron, solder & desoldering braid required to fit capacitors, (not included).
