Description:

The 8BitDo Retro Receiver for Sega Saturn allows you to enjoy wireless gameplay on original hardware using a broad range of modern controllers.

Once connected to the Saturn controller port, it pairs over Bluetooth® with many 8BitDo pads—including the Ultimate series, Pro 2, SN30 models, M30, Micro and the 8BitDo Arcade Stick—as well as popular first-party controllers such as DualShock 4, DualSense, DualSense Edge, Xbox One / Series / Elite Series 2, the Xbox Adaptive Controller, Switch Pro and Wii U Pro.

The receiver delivers a virtually lag-free connection and supports Bluetooth firmware updates for ongoing performance improvements. Its compact, lightweight build (only 10 g) aims to complement the original Saturn hardware while offering the convenience of wireless play. Both Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth LE are supported.

For those who prefer the authentic feel of the original Saturn controller without the cable, the receiver is also compatible with the 8BitDo Saturn Mod Kit (sold separately), which converts an official wired pad into a wireless Bluetooth controller.

In addition to Saturn consoles, the Retro Receiver can also be used on Windows 10/11 systems.

The unit measures 26.8 × 51.8 × 14.9 mm and includes a USB cable for firmware updates.
