The finish and design very closely follows the original game cartridge design, with a slight texture to the plastic, and a glossy central square to apply the game label.
These reproduction cartridge shells have a screw post in the lower position like the original games, and can be used with original game PCBs and some custom PCBs that have the screw post hole in the same position such as inside gadgets.
The casings simply slide apart and secure together with a single security screw, with it generously including both a security screw and a Philips screw, so that you can choose what type you wish to use.
A Gamebit screwdriver is required to open original games, a Philips screwdriver tool is needed to install the replacement Philips securing screws included in this pack (no screwdrivers are included with this product).Â
